Thank you for visiting with us.

Once fully renovated, we will be able to offer everything
from primitive tent sites to chalets with kitchens and
bathrooms. For those primitive campers there is a full
service shower house with showers and restroom stalls.

There is plenty of room on the grounds for the casual stroll
and a babbling creek to get your feet wet. Mother Nature
provides the best entertainment in this beautiful area.

We are just a few miles from some of the most beautiful
state parks in South Carolina. Nearby there is the highest
point in South Carolina, Sassafras Mountain at over 3,500
feet above sea level.

Our campground is the perfect place to take a much needed
rest from your busy life (no phones, cable, or Internet in our
cabins) or a family vacation.

Mountain Rest Cabins and Campgrounds is a family
owned and operated property. Your hosts are June
White and Ed Walker; both from Florida. Our
campground is a work in progress, but we hope
that you will find it both inviting and relaxing. We
aspire to provide all with a comfortable atmosphere.
Children and pets* are welcome.

Pets must have current shots and tags, as well as good manners.
